Growing Christians in higher education can be a daunting task.  While previous generations were campus bound, this generation of two-year students tend to be mobile, need immediate gratification, but never the less seek an authentic worship experience. We believe that the Wesley foundation at Jones County Junior College is here to meet this challenge.  The group is lead by Katherine Ricks, Student Minister, and a foundation board comprised from the Hattiesburg district churches.  The Wesley foundation is funded through support from the Mississippi Annual Conference, Hattiesburg district and individual contributions.

Our goal is to establish a movement to introduce students to Christ, enhance their faith, and allow students the opportunity to share the love of Christ with others.  Programming includes weekly worship services, small group Bible studies, and other special events to connect students.

All programming is accomplished solely through contributions.  We hope you will consider joining us in our mission to grow this ministry at JCJC.  Your contribution to the JCJC Wesley Foundation can be tagged for a specific use or used in the general budget for all programs.  Collected gifts are tax deductible and receipted annually.
